Anyway, back on topic, I believe we all interpret justice differently. I agree, justice in courts these days is almost like people having revenge on each other, (though occsaionally its probably necessary for the person to stay alive). However, the justice dealt by God is unbiased, and that's what I believe. I know some people say it's being "weak-minded", but that's what I believe to be true. Could I possibly get your interpretation of justice? You seem much more of a philosopher then most people I know anyway. Yes, I agree that everyone, and sometimes especially religious people, is selfish and centres the world around him/herself. But, to be a Christian, you at least TRY to forgive and forget, (and this doesn't clash with my interpretation of justice if God is the person who deals it), and keep in these emotions. I'm not saying we always succeed - we certainly don't, but as long as we REPENT and FORGIVE others, we can at least take off some of the sin. I don't try and quanitfy sorrow. It's up to each person to decide that themselves. But if I see someone who I "think" is in pain, then I would try and help so that they may find comfort. In your first post you said, "What does it matter if God exists?". Well, let us assume God Definitely exists. In that case, he is also the person who created the entire universe, and also created you. Then, just as you respect your father and mother, shouldn't you respect and believe in your creator? And, about that respect thing, I only said it because thats whats expected of you in a forum. You are to respect one another's opinions when posting. I don't expect you to respect me. Anyway, thats my two cents. Thanks for reading.
